Program Description
英语资格证书
For residents of the Black Hawk College district who have limited English or who are non-English-speaking adults, 17 years of age or older. Sixteen-year-old students may enroll with parental and secondary school district permission.
学生 develop English language skills to:
- Participate in American society
- 进入就业
- Advance in the workplace
- Enroll in a training program or the Academic ESL Program
- Be successful in the citizenship process

学生 are placed in a class based on their level of English. Every class includes reading, writing, listening, speaking, and grammar. 学生 also learn general aspects of American culture and civics. New students are tested to ensure placement accuracy.

Qualifying students attend classes without cost.
